Foundation Client Representative

Foundations Client Representative required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Clients project representative offshore and/or onshore on board the respective contractor vessels.
• Act as the Clients project representative for load out coordination onshore to ensure safe and secure transportation of assets.
• Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) as required.
• Review and understand Risk Assessments/Method Statements and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
• Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
• During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness.
• Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from Client and Contractor organisations.

Requirements

• Experience with rock placement/installation and/or survey experience.
• GWO's.
• OGUK Medical certificate including Chester step.
• IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet).
• High focus on quality and safety.
• Speaks, reads and writes English fluently.
• Address in Taiwan is preferred. Alternately address in US or EU will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience from e.g., fabrication yards, heavy lifts, transporting heavy loads or loadouts, Marine Warranty Survey, vessel inspections.
• Experience with Offshore Wind Projects as client rep on the particular scopes in question.
• IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
