We are currently working with a global leader in offshore wind development and green energy solutions. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team as the Finance Assistant/Manager. In this position, the candidate will play a key role in Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Financial analysis, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
[Key Responsibilities]
1. Monthly Financial Closing and Reporting
- Performing Monthly-Closing including reviewing supporting documents and managing accounting-related process
- Prepare Monthly Financial Reports for Shareholder (Monthly PL, BS, CF)
- Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements (including Note)
- Preparation of Year-End external Audit
2. Tax Filing
- Preparation and review of quarterly VAT filings.
- Preparation and review of Corporate Tax Return
- Review of Local Tax Returns
- Reporting and reviewing Withholding Tax, etc.
3. Company's internal control system
- Review of Employee Expenses in accordance with Company Policy
- Operation and evaluation of the Internal Accounting Control System
- Review and managing other financial-related internal regulation
4. Treasury
- Managing Funding Status and Expenditure Schedule
- Monthly Cashflow Forecasting and Execution of Payment
- Perfoming Internet banking, Bank Withdrawals, Overseas Remittances.
- Archiving documents confirming the execution of funds such as transfer receipts and remittance confirmations
5. Financial Analysis
- Analysing Monthly Devex, OPEX, DD cost, etc.
- Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and key business drivers to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements to streamline financial reporting and analysis procedures.
- Prepare insightful and actionable reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders
6. Other
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to ensure the accuracy and relevance of financial forecasts and analyses.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
[Qualification]
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or finance-related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting, tax and financial department with a minimum of 3~6 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Fluent English preferred.
- Experience in preparing financial statements in accordance with K-IFRS preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications; familiarity with ERP(Douzone) systems is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
