Global Category Manager – Energy Storage (BESS)

Taylor Hopkinson are working on behalf of our renewables industry-leading client who are looking for an experienced BESS Category Manager to join the team

Experience

Experience in global supply chain development for BESS

Up-to-date knowledge of the industry

Experience with high-level negotiation with top manufacturers and suppliers

Track record of utility-scale BESS procurement

Identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain and propose business cases

Experience with presenting to stakeholders of all levels

Manage multi-jurisdiction tenders for the category

Conducting quarterly business reviews

Monitor technology innovation and cost trends

Reporting market intelligence regularly

Requirements

Masters degree in Electrical, Electronic or Chemical Engineering

CSPM, CSCP, CIPS is an advantage

Fluency in spoken and written English essential, additional languages are a plus

Manufacturing process knowledge

Experience with competitive bidding

Able to promote a positive working culture within the team
