Global Procurement for Ops and Strategy Director

A unique and rare opportunity for an experienced Procurement professional with a demonstrable record of successfully managing Procurement Strategy and Operations to take on the role of Global Procurement for Operations & Strategy Director with one of Europe's leading solar developers.

You will be responsible for implementing and conducting a successful Procurement strategy to ensure global solar major players' short- and long-term needs and efficiency.

The role is ideally based in London.

Responsibilities:

• Applying a commercial mindset to implement and deliver a comprehensive Global Procurement Strategy successfully
• Conducting complex negotiations with all stakeholders and ensuring long-term partnerships
• Managing Procurement Managers
• Implementing new processes and procedures, as well as improving systems delivery

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Procurement in the renewable industry (ideally solar)
• Solid network in the solar and BESS industry (EPCs...)
• Experience dealing and leading negotiations with all stakeholders
• Knowledge of LCOE
• Commercial-oriented
