Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulate a strategy for increasing sales to meet revenue targets and enhancing market influence within the hydrogen sector.
- Execute the devised market strategy, ensuring the growth of business operations and sales across the EMEA region.
- Discover and cultivate fresh business prospects within the hydrogen energy domain. This includes identifying potential clients, collaborators, and suppliers.
- Pinpoint trial initiatives and chances for collaborative creation to develop and promote our Client's solutions.
- Provide insights into the market and customer landscape to the Marketing and Innovation teams, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that cater to customer requirements.
- Work in conjunction with Customer Service and the Technical Back Office to seize market openings.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated history of successful business development and account management, preferably in sectors associated with infrastructure or industry.
- Familiar with hydrogen production, transport, storage, distribution, networks & hydrogen uses/applications.
- Enthusiasm for driving the global economy towards decarbonization.
- Prior experience in B2B business development for gas-related applications, encompassing production and/or distribution.
- Familiarity with sizeable project sales involving EPC contractors (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and/or OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
- Proficient communicator with the ability to effectively lead and engage across different levels, functions, businesses, and geographical locations, both within and outside the organisation.
- Fluent in English and German, with knowledge of other European languages being advantageous.
