Grid Connection Manager, Greece

Taylor Hopkinson is in the search for a Grid Connection Manager for a leading investment platform specialised in solar PV projects.

This person will be responsible for leading the engineering and procedures for the connection of renewable projects the company has in Greece

The role is based in Athens (some flexibility may be offered)

Role

• Support during the development and construction of projects preparing documents and assess potential risks to ensure the grid connection
• Manage the process of applications and negotiations to connect to the TSO/DSO
• Ensure that the overall electrical design for these projects complies with the local regulations and standards
• Prepare and provide technical specifications and economical inputs related to cables and onshore substations
• Supervise grid connection agreements, evaluation of suppliers and contract negotiation related to the electrical works
• Support during the operation of the plants and also during the negotiation of PPA´s agreements

Requirements

• Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience asking for permits for grid connection procedures for the renewable energy industry
• Knowledge and experience in the relationship with the TSO/DSO
• Fluency in English and Greek
