This pivotal role will be responsible for recruitment, training, management and leadership of a high performing delivery function in a fast-paced contract recruitment environment. Also with a focus on continuous improvement of processes and systems to improve time-to-hire, visibility of contractor availability and recruitment process optimisation. The appointment of this individual will allow our senior team members to focus on capturing new opportunities, caring for and growing our existing client accounts and managing recruitment processes and negotiations leading to continued growth and acquisition of market share.

The Role

  • Leading a team of Delivery Consultants to exceed KPI targets for candidate generation, screening and CV submissions by bringing positive energy and drive to a highly competitive marketplace
  • Managing activity and productivity through proactive use of performance data provided by Bullhorn and Cube 19 in real time
  • Hands-on talent acquisition activities to lead by example, set standards and demonstrate the skills and behaviours needed within the team. Over time the role will evolve to be increasingly management focused as team members are trained and developed and the team grows
  • Recruiting talent into the team to meet business plan expectations and client demand in conjunction with managers, consultants and account managers
  • Working with our Training and Development Manager to evolve and create fit-for-purpose training at point of induction and on an on-going basis
  • Developing team members through monthly, well-planned personal development plan meetings
  • Performance management and disciplinary procedures within the team as required
  • Participating proactively in team business planning meetings and working in close collaboration with colleagues to achieve growth and profitability
  • Contributing to annual business planning activities
  • Becoming an expert in the use of existing software systems and working with suppliers to find ways to make them as effective as possible, including organising training, auditing systems use and continued desk based coaching and development
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of offshore wind markets and contractor talent pools over time that will keep us one step ahead of the competition
  • Ensuring quality and compliance standards are met at all times for data collection, recording and presentation

The Requirements

  • Degree educated in any discipline
  • Significant experience of successfully managing people in a phone-based, delivery/resourcing function where high activity levels are key to meeting and exceeding targets on a daily basis
  • Significant proven success in an RPO role, managing a large client account(s), volume recruitment, including TUPE transfer and administering a VMS (Vendor Management System)
  • Natural leader and manager who can create a positive working environment for the team and invest the time and effort into their development required to keep them motivated and progressing
  • A team player who puts the interests of the business and the team ahead of personal requirements
  • Career-minded and willing to be flexible to meet the demands of the business
  • An exceptional memory and ability to absorb and retain lots of data
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • An out-going and engaging personality that will make positive first impressions with our contractor-base old and new
