Taylor Hopkinson are seeking an experienced and capable recruitment professional to join our Head Office team as Head of Storage. You will develop and manage our international Energy Storage service offering, developing expert level knowledge, achieving personal revenue targets and then going on to grow and manage a team of recruitment consultants over time.

The Role

  • Developing relationships with new and existing candidates and clients, networking and developing our reputation as a go-to expert in this market
  • Achieving personal target billings
  • Contributing to the market strategy to develop the team and increase market share working in collaboration with senior management
  • Ownership and accountability to deliver the team budget
  • Reporting concise management information to Directors, updating on the current position and pipeline of the team in addition to any ad hoc topical issues
  • Managing the performance of team members including mentoring, development and discipline
  • Supporting the learning and development of the team by identifying the development opportunities of each individual and working in partnership with Learning and Development and others in the business to close these gaps through observation, coaching, call feedback, and ad-hoc team training sessions where necessary
  • Utilising market information learned through market research and day to day conversations with clients and candidates in the market to work collaboratively with the team, the Director and the wider business to contribute input to strategic plans to grow market share, team NFI and team headcount
  • Interviewing and hiring new team members

The Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Previous experience and proven success in a technical 360 senior recruitment role, with a focus on permanent or retained recruitment processes
  • Experience or knowledge in the area of energy storage desirable
  • Competent and professional business development / sales style which can be tailored to international client base
  • Well presented, with excellent communication style
  • Influencing skills and stakeholder management skills to be used both internally and externally
  • Outcome focussed - proactively ensuring consistent achievement of team and personal KPIs and NFI
  • Brand ambassador, consultative approach and professional persona, both in and out of the office
  • Continually seeking to expand client base and leading from the front empowering Consultants to bring new clients on board
  • Process driven, understanding the importance of database utilisation
  • Participation in team building events, charitable events and networking events
  • High energy attitude and positive yet realistic outlook
