Head of Environmental Planning

Taylor Hopkinson have partnered with a global leader in the development and management of solar energy projects and is looking for a Senior Environmental Manager in Poland.

The location will be Warsaw, Poland.

Role:

• Provide expert advice on environmental permitting applications and stakeholder engagement,
• Manage the team and support in permitting, consultant selection, stakeholder engagement,
• Track key pipeline milestones and management responsibilities,
• Collaborate with relevant department Heads and Directors in order to achieve companies' targets,
• Ensure that the obligations during construction and operation are clear and understood,
• Report on budget and key risks,
• Develop strong relationships with key external stakeholders,
• Control relevant renewable energy policies, implications and remedies,
• Collaborate on permitting processes and partake in permit review sessions with authorities.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English,
• Great understanding of environmental constraints and spatial planning,
• +15 years of experience in permitting or business development in the solar PV or Wind industry in Poland,
• Proactivity, independence, ambition,
• Promoting a positive working culture,
• Good communication skills,
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams,
• Ability to create long term professional relationships with third parties.
