Head of Project Development - Offshore Wind

Our client, an international offshore wind developer, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Head of Project Development who is passionate about developing renewables and the offshore wind industry.

You will have a strong commercial understanding of the offshore wind industry from an early phase in immature markets or technology, including managing a diverse team on multiple locations, and reporting to a project board. It is desirable with basic understanding of the associated systems and products in the offshore wind industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project portfolio of multiple GW in South Korea, floating and fixed
• Manage the whole process of offshore wind farm from consents, permits and all related surveys
• Manage multicultural and multi-location project team
• Report to project board frequently
• Present and brand the project externally at events, conferences and in media when required
• Maintain dialog with external stakeholders to the project, including the government.
  
  

Key Experience:

• Good insight into renewable project development and offshore wind industry, including consenting processes, offtake mechanisms, governmental relations etc
• Strong leader with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team across multiple locations
• Great abilities to communicate efficiently to project board
• Structured and organized in managing budget and schedule
• Bachelor or Master degree
• 15 years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills in Korean and English
• Can travel frequently as needed
