Taylor Hopkinson is in search of an HR Manager Germany to join a leading multinational utility in the Berlin office. This person will lead the HR area in the country, reporting internationally.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage payroll and benefits programs along with the provider
- Manage and lead onboarding, promotion, and hiring processes
- Advise the Germany management teams on all HR matters (hiring, employee relations, or off-boarding)
- Liaise with trade unions if required
- Support compensation, talent, and succession reviews
- Support training and development planning
- Assess and manage training needs
- Spread and promote employees' well-being and the company's values and culture
- Contribute to global HR initiatives and global HR reporting
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German are a MUST
- Fluency in other languages such as Spanish, Italian, or Polish is a plus, but not required
- Degree educated in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or other related to HR
- Strong knowledge of German labor law is required
- Both strategic and operational views of HR
