Investment Director

An exciting opportunity for an Investment Director to join a fast-growing organisation who specialises in renewables investment and development.

The Role:

• Drive financing, M&A, and off-take procurement processes.
• Manage internal teams and coordinate external advisors.
• Diligently review due diligence materials and prepare summary reports.
• Support senior team members in negotiations and deal execution.
• Oversee financial modelling and guide associates.
• Optimise the business's existing portfolio for enhanced value.
• Develop and mentor junior team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.
• Build and maintain a broad network of industry contacts.
• Source and evaluate new acquisition opportunities.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of demonstrated expertise in M&A and project finance, specializing in renewable energy
• Strong ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
• Proficiency in financial modelling, showcasing excellent skills in this domain
• Track record of successfully managing the complete cycle of M&A or financing processes
• Possess a pre-established network of valuable connections within the European renewable energy sector
• Fluent in English with ideally proficiency in at least one other European language, with a preference for German or French proficiency
