Taylor Hopkinson are working with a global offshore wind developer with strong backing from a leading infrastructure investor, they have ambitious plans to grow their already impressive portfolio of offshore assets across Europe and Asia.
This is a unique opportunity to become a critical part of the newly established Category Management team.
This role aims at increasing competitiveness and profitability through a thorough and focused approach on Levelized Cost of Energy. You will act as a central manager and focal point for cross-functional workstreams within the Category Management Team. You will be providing expertise, guidance, and direction, driving those workstreams to gain in depth view and positive impact on LCOE.
As the LCOE Manager you will work in close alignment with Category Managers, Contract Management, CAPEX Procurement, Procurement, Commercial Excellence that are all part of the Global Procurement & Supply Chain, and other relevant stakeholders such as Project Directors, Finance, CTO etc.
- Ensure that efforts of the selected cross-functional workstream teams are aligned and all the workstreams are working towards one common goal - a focused and informed approach on LCOE
- You will drive a data, forecasting and feasibility driven approach to support the decision-making processes to improve our procurement strategies and development work
- Create an environment and drive an operating rhythm in which we capture new ideas that will improve our competitiveness, including workshops
- Develop a tool, digital platform, and process that will govern the approach towards LCOE intelligence, management & reporting
- You are determined to contribute to the business success with a demonstrated passion for
new energies and the energy transition
Ideally you will have the following qualifications:
Degree in Business Management, Procurement & Supply Chain, MCIPS. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or relevant work experience.
If you can display strong acumen in the following it would be preferable:
Commercial, technical, very strong analytical skills, business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset. Wind Industry experience required. Negotiating, strategy deployment.
Further more a strong understanding of offshore wind development and LCOE drivers would likely secure an interview.
By choice you would be based in one of the German offices 3 days a week but this could be open to change for the right candidate.
