Offshore T&I Package Engineer required for major Offshore Wind Farm developer based in Ireland

Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery by managing and optimising port infrastructure related to the project, including upgrades, improvements, and efficiency enhancements as needed.
  • Utilise marine expertise and knowledge to oversee and coordinate float off, towage, and mooring operations for assets involved in the project.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies in port operations, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure seamless execution of marine operations and adherence to project timelines.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with port infrastructure and marine operations, implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Together with project team, collaborate with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with relevant marine and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with project teams, providing timely updates on port infrastructure activities and marine operations.
  • Support the development and execution of port-related contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in engineering or a completed marine apprenticeship, coupled with at least five years of project experience in large marine EPC projects in either development or construction, with either a developer or marine contractor.
  • Experience of working within CDM projects, HSE audits, design risk assessment and method statement production and reviews.
  • Extensive knowledge of port infrastructure and marine operations including supply chain and market conditions.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g. DNV, ISO, European Standards, ISPS) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of PMI or PMP certified or APM certified is desirable.
