Offshore Wind Senior Investment Manager

Excellent opportunity for an experienced M&A and/or Investment professional to join a leading offshore wind player in Denmark - the role requires someone with broad experience of M&A and valuations across renewable energy or wider infrastructure who can base themself in Copenhagen. You will be adaptable and pro-active and have the drive and ambition to join a hugely successful business.

Role

• Develop, maintain and operate business cases for offshore wind projects
• Participate in due diligence processes for acquisitions of new projects
• Bid development and financial support for offshore wind auctions
• Business development support to early stage offshore wind projects
• Assessment of new offshore wind markets
• Financial modelling and valuation analysis of new investment opportunities
• Provide relevant financial analysis in relation to tender bids and key supplier selection decisions
• Prepare decision material and financial updates to Senior management, Board of Directors and Investment Committees
• Development of in-house knowledge and tools for business case assessments

Requirements

• Top academic performer with an interest in large and complex infrastructure projects
• 8-12 years relevant experience from a corporate or investment background
• Experience from the offshore wind industry is preferred
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
• Good team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Dedicated and persistent with an eye for details
• Super user in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present and communicate complex matters
