O&M Contracting & Procurement Specialist

O&M Contracting & Procurement Specialist required for a major Offshore Wind Farm developer based in the United States

Responsibilities

• Leads in issuing request-for-proposals (RFPs) related to procuring technologies/equipment and related services or construction activities
• Leads in the clarifications and negotiations of procurement contracts, including deviations negotiations with vendors, compiling and finalising the final drafts, and manages the day-to-day obligations associated with doing so
• Leads in the commercial negotiation for tenders with a Most Economically Advantageous approach
• Lead the procurement steps up to the contract signature (recommendation to award, contract approval process)
• Support the Contract Lead in any variation or claim to occur during the contract execution
• Develop the procurement strategy and prepare a tender package for each procurement need
• Reporting and presenting to leadership and related stakeholders
• Sourcing (Track market trends and Road maps for technologies and services) and Management of RFIs

Requirements

• Demonstrates ability to work successfully with multiple people from all types of fields of expertise in a high-paced JV environment
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office 365, with emphasis on MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Good reporting skills
• Experience with ERP Systems, including project cost reporting
• Outstanding interpersonal oral and written communication skills required
