Offshore Sub Station LV/ Aux Commissioning Supervisor required for leading Offshore Wind Farm developer based in France.
Role
- To assist the Offshore Sub Station Commissioning Team in supervising/performing all Commissioning related tasks
Responsibilities
- Prepare, attend and lead toolbox talks, site and/or asset inductions
- Review and comment FAT, HAT, SAT, SIT procedures
- Attend, coordinate and execute FAT, HAT, SAT, SIT
- Comment relevant HSE and Commissioning documentation
- Prepare, review, comment LV switching schedules and SLD
- Apply/remove LOTO and work acc.to Mechanical and Electrical Safety Rules
- Perform isolations, energizations and de-energizations on LV and Auxiliary systems
- Perform site walk-downs and checks of all the OSS LV and Auxiliary equipment
- Review and comment on test reports, Checklists and other
- Commissioning related documentation (incl. RAMS and PTW)
- Review and issue Inspection reports / Walk-down reports / Daily Progress Reports
- Ensure that outstanding work is executed, and quality issues are reported
- Perform general maintenance and inspections of OSS LV and Auxiliary systems
- Register, review and supervise resolution of the LV and Auxiliary Punch List items (Non-Conformance, major or minor punch items) on the OSS
- Propose technical solutions and validations to the Commissioning Engineers
- Escalate all decisions with quality/delay/cost impacts to EPCI and Wind Farm Commissioning Managers
- Act as an Employer on-site representative
- Ad-hoc tasks (both onshore and offshore)
- Prepare and facilitate handover between installation, Commissioning and O&M
- Contribute to evaluation of the project and capture lessons learnt
- When required assist Foundation Package with Commissioning and/or Interim Maintenance Activities
- Perform cargo operations using asset's cranes
- Assist O&M Team when required
- Prepare end of shift handover report
Requirements
- Working rights for EU.
- Auxiliary systems Commissioning and maintenance
- Strong experience in electrical systems
- Recommended 3 years of work experience in wind industry
- Recommended 1 year of experience in similar position
- Flexible and ready to work in Team
- Ability to communicate proficiently in the English and/or French language
- Should be able to perform basic tasks on MS Office
