Exciting opportunity to join a leading global energy developer Process Improvement Advisor. This role will work on internal improvement initiatives and improvement projects, which are of high importance for ensuring efficiency during a time of change.
The role will form part of the Business Excellence department and be responsible for continuous support across the renewables business developing the operating model and ways of working. This will cover identification of potential cross-improvements, scoping needed change projects, defining the approach and leading improvement initiatives to realise potential.
This is a full time, staff role which can be based in a number of Central European locations.
Role:
- Analysing and improving ways of working by taking an active role in modelling and optimising processes, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities relating to the project governance model and clarify roles and responsibilities (RASCI, RAPID, etc.) in the ways of working framework.
- Interviewing stakeholders and facilitating workshops and group discussions to analyse pain points in ways of working, understanding root-cause analysis and moderating the co-creation of improvement solutions.
- Preparing effective improvement proposals, presentations, concepts, analysis reports and documentation for our stakeholders & management team.
- Supporting the digitalisation of ways of working through specific digitalisation or IT related initiatives, ranging from the identification of needs, the design of changes and roll-out of new solutions done in partnership with IT and Digitalisation teams.
- Taking ownership of ensuring clear roll-out, communication and change management of changes in the existing process landscape and information management systems.
- Contributing in maturing processes and continuous improvement framework
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in business, law or similar subject.
- Experience in process mapping, process optimisation projects and/or IT enhancement initiatives.
- Aptitude for problem solving, analytics (both quantitative and qualitative), critical and creative thinking.
- Proven ability to solve assignments with guidance and to take ownership to develop solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in toolbox for workshop facilitation with knowledge of different facilitation techniques and tools, including in virtual settings (whiteboard, murals, miro), process analysis and optimisation (fishbone analysis, 5Why's, RASCI methodologies, etc.) and project management.
- First experience in successfully applying lean, six sigma or similar methodologies is an advantage.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Experience in Energy sector and/or Wind industry preferable.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
