Project Developer

As a Project Developer, you will be responsible for a portfolio of wind projects and will work with the team and external stakeholders to progress the development of the projects.

Your tasks will be to initiate and manage onshore wind power projects from the feasibility study to the construction phase in a cost-efficient, safe and timely manner and use your powers of persuasion and negotiation skills to convince local people of the merits of our projects.


Duties:

· Independent management of a project portfolio throughout the entire development phase - from white space analysis and land acquisition to construction readiness, taking into account legal, technical, planning and economic aspects.

· Support and coordination of all necessary procedures in project development such as procedures for spatial planning designation, urban land use plan procedures and procedures in accordance with local permitting requirements.

· Central contact for all project-relevant stakeholders, e.g. municipalities, authorities and project partners.

· Close cooperation with internal and external experts.

· Managing a small team of junior developers to assist in your tasks.

Requirements:

· Degree in the field of engineering, urban and regional planning, environmental or landscape planning, geoecology or a comparable field of study.

· You have at least 2-5 years of professional experience in the management of renewable energy projects in development in France, especially in the field of onshore wind.

· Knowledge in the use of GIS programmes and WindPro desirable.

· Distinct planning and organisational skills as well as negotiation skills.

· driving licence and the associated willingness to travel
