Tasks
- Sourcing for land and professionals in order to develop green field solar projects
- Promoting growth, profitability and sustainability of the market
- Developing and proposing the business development strategy, KPIs and main goals for the market
- Drafting and presenting annual budgets for the market
- Identifying, assessing and facilitating business development opportunities for solar and wind
- Coordinating external project developers or professionals, assuring compliance with the signed agreements
- Sourcing, assessing and proposing project acquisition opportunities
- Contributing to the definition and preparation of a sustainable development strategy
- Assuring constant monitoring of the defined objectives
Requirements
- Previous relevant experience and understanding of the permitting processes during the development phase, applications and regulations in the Spanish energy market
- Knowledge of the Spanish energy sector, specific regulation, auction mechanisms, PPA dealing, merchant schemes and high development experience in the country of utility-scale
- Strong analytical skills, capable to focus on the more relevant topics prioritising and to properly identify the key risks
- Good communication skills, capable to communicate clearly and effectively and to manage executive communications
