Sales Director Europe
This is one for the hunters - you'll be spending a lot of time winning new business and prospecting clients. If you have a warm network and a solid contact book, you'll be in a great place to start. You'll have to grow this business and raise its profile around Europe. And you'll have to do this while you manage and grow a sales team.
You'd be joining a Tier 1 module manufacturer with ambitions to significantly grow its presence and reputation across Europe, targeting large, utility-scale clients as a priority.
With over ten years' experience in EU markets, you'll have an experienced back-office team in Germany to support you, giving you more time to spend with your customers. The GM in Europe will liaise with HQ in China, giving you more time to focus on your sales and your team.
With a need to continue to grow their reputation around Europe, you'll need to be ready to attend industry conferences to show off their product line - highly reliable, self-cleaning modules which are ideal for reducing your clients' O&M costs.
It'd be great if you've managed people in the past - you'd have a growing team of five Sales Managers across Europe to work with. You should be fluent in German and English. You'll need to know the market and have previous experience working in solar - even better if you're already selling to big projects.
This can be a remote position, with offices based in Frankfurt. The business is able to offer a base salary of €70-100,000, with additional bonuses and commission.
