Senior EIA Consultant

Role and responsibility:

• Leading role in the consent management of large-scale marine infrastructure projects;
• Project management of projects;
• Authoring and quality assurance of technical reports;
• Stakeholder and client engagement; and
• Business development and the marketing of the business to existing and potential clients.

Requirements:

• A passion for environmental issues;
• Educated to degree preferable Masters level in a relevant technical subject which should have an environmental foundation;
• Fluent in Chinese, professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Between 3-6 years of professional experience in environmental consultancy;
• An understanding and experience of the Taiwanese marine consenting system, policy, legislation, Environmental Impact Assessment, monitoring requirements of the Environmental Protection Authority and environmental issues;
• Practical knowledge of specific marine industry sectors in Taiwan and the wider region;
• Demonstrable project delivery experience;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Pdf software;
• Excellent written and oral communication, organisational and time management skills; and
• Ability to work independently and part of a team as/when required.
