Opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter with experience in logistics, procurement, operations and people management to join a leading US Renewable Energy investment and asset management firm.
The Senior Logistics Manager will head a newly formed logistics department, supporting a multitude of functions for the operations and on-site teams from procurement and construction through to operations and asset management related to utility-scale RE projects.
Responsibilities:
- Head newly formed logistics department
- Support functions fo the operations team
- Maintain and optimise company document storage systems
- Support conversion from current to new document management system
- Managing and providing logistics for all company-wide procurement activities, with a particular focus on equipment purchase of solar panels and wind turbine orders for construction, along with inventory of spare parts on existing sites
- Manage site-related utilities from procurement through operation
- Lead office admin functions across multitude national offices
- Lead the management and growth of the new logistics division
Requirements:
- Experience managing high-performing teams, whether large or smaller. Preference for experiencing growing team/division
- Excellent time and workload management skills
- Exceptional organisational management skills for both self and team under responsibility
- Highly motivated self-starter with desire to join a small but growing team with significant ambition
- Desire to utilise full and wide skill set and high levels of intellect on a daily basis
- Advanced skills using various software systems related to logistics and document management
- Prior experience in renewables industry preferred
- Detail orientated, with desire to achieve precision and accuracy
