Site Project Manager required in China for a leading Offshore wind farm developer for a 15 month contract


  • The Site Project Manager will lead the employers site team and be the interlink between the employers project team and EPCI/Fabrication subcontractors and their team on site
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for the employers site team to actively monitor the fabrication scope including, inspection, testing, measuring and documenting in accordance to program milestones and relevant regulations
  • The Project Manager will participate in audits, progress meetings, inspections meetings and support the Fabrication and Quality Manager in case of Technical Queries, expert advice and commercial issues
  • Special attentions will be paid to the HSE Culture and management as well as other major interfaces
  • The Project Manager will have senior experience in leading and managing an employers site team and a good balance between all sides of the project.


  • Leading and motivating the employers site team
  • Measure and report fabrication performance
  • Identify and report risks and potential issues
  • Monitoring and liaison with the UK-based Fabrication Manager on the programme
  • Support the UK-based Fabrication Manager and Quality Manager in the case of Technical Queries, expert advice, changes and Commercial issues.
  • Manage the relationship with the EPCI contractor, the fabricator and all stakeholders
  • Support and monitor the EPCI contractor's fabrication inspection team to ensure that all ITP intervention points are adhered to and the employers requirements being respected
  • Participate with the employers site team in technical meetings, toolbox meeting, safety meetings with both the EPCI contractor and fabrication contractor
  • Follow-up on fabrication issues with the project team, EPCI contractor and the fabrication contractor
  • Review of EPCI contractors/Fabrication contractors progress, quality, fabrication report
  • Participate with the employers site team in any testing and verification walk downs prior to load out
  • Follow-up with the employers site team on the results of testing and verification ensuring that any snag items are closed prior to load out
  • Review and comment plans, drawings and specification methods
