Sr. Analyst, M&A and Investments

Opportunity for an experienced investment and M&A professional to join a top 10 global renewable energy company, in the role of Senior Analyst, M&A and Investment for the Americas.

Based in Chicago, IL or remote, this individual will focus on bringing renewable energy projects forward for investment decisions.

Reporting to the Head of Investments & M&A, this professional with cover an active portfolio of multi-million dollar transactions across several technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses of investment opportunities, including DCF valuations and communicate findings effectively
• Evaluate and challenge inputs to investment decisions
• Identify and implement process and practice improvement opportunities
• Support senior management with strategic project work
• Support investment decisions and related processes

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in finance, M&A, investment, and/or valuation roles
• Proficiency in valuation methodologies and financial modeling
• Min. degree-level education in a relevant discipline
• Renewable energy and/or M&A experience, including in DD
• Excellent quantitative skills and an eye for detail
