Technical Project Manager, Onshore Renewables

Our client is looking for a Technical Project Development Manager with strong
experience on the grid connection of onshore renewable projects, to support the development of utility-scale solar, BESS and wind projects in Italy.

Location: Rome Office
Reporting to: Country Manager Italy

Key Responsibilities:

* To undertake and coordinate all necessary activities for the successful development of the
projects, with the final target to reach all the required permits for building the project:
* To take care of the project grid feasibility and liaise with TSO/DSO
* To support Italian technical department in drafting and evaluating preliminary
layouts and prepare the grid solution requests
* To assess the environmental and technical restrictions potentially affecting lands
according to the Italian regulation/Law
* To develop and maintain excellent relations with other producers/DSO/TSO and
participate in Technical tables and grid sharing agreements
* To coordinate the technical activities with the local and group-wide experts
* To secure the most economical MV/HV grid connection prior to accepting
STMG's and manage the application procedure for obtaining grid capacity with
local DNO/TSO
* To lead and manage the permitting process of PV/BESS/Wind projects in the
Country
* To communicate with the authorities, landowners and partners
* To develop the projects considering the quantitative and qualitative goals,
applying a commercial mind-set
* To report periodically to the Country Manager and the Holding team in
accordance with the Company Policy.
* To apply the Company quality control procedures, with a strong focus on HSES
policy
* Deal with the connection contracts and construction after RTB

Requirements:

* Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering)
* Advanced knowledge of grid connection processes in Italy (HV/MV)
* 3+ years of professional experience in PV/Wind projects
* 3+ years of experience in Project Development in renewable energy,
specifically PV/Wind projects
* High communication and negotiation skills
* Team player
* Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
