Wind Business Development Coordinator – Madrid

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Wind Project Development Coordinator to join one of our most relevant clients at the moment, which is a utility company holding a 5GW portfolio under the operation phase. This person will develop wind and hybrid projects from greenfield to ready-to-build stages.

The role:

• Manage all resources assigned to the project to control and report its status
• Lead the relationship with local developers and other third parties
• Liaise the obtaining of the land rights necessary to build and operate a wind plant
• Coordination of the technical studies required to file the different authorizations to build and operate wind plants
• Manage and interact with different stakeholders (landowners, official entities, social communities)
• Manage the interface with other internal departments, such as engineering and construction, legal, asset management
• Identify, implement, and monitor improvement and/or corrective actions throughout the project management
• Identify and obtain all the permits, licenses, and authorizations needed for the construction of the wind plants

Requirements:

• Engineering Educated or similar
• Extensive experience in wind project development
• Deep understanding of the permitting process of wind in Spain, application, and regulation.
• High command of both English and Spanish is a must
