Wind Project Development Manager, Germany (m/f/div)

Opportunity for an ambitious and highly driven professional with a strong wind energy project development background to take on the role of a (Senior) Wind Project Development Manager within one of the largest wind energy producers in the world.

The Project Development Manager will manage the business from the identification of opportunities to contract with the owners and the support of the communities involved.

The role is based in Munich, Germany with hybrid working encouraged. Our client is open to further locations in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Explore new and relevant sites through targeted personal research or through results made available by the GIS Team, with public and private actors
• Develop and animate a network of business introducers
• Qualify projects with a view to integrating them into the development process
• Secure land through the negotiation and signing to promise of lease
• Represent the company with local public or private actors, state services, and communities in order to make known and accepted projects and the company
• Initiate the launch of procedures to apply for single permit achievement coordinating the activities to set up all the docs in compliance with applicable law

Your profile

• University degree (Environmental, Renewable Energy, Energy, Engineering, or similar)
• 3-5 years in the Renewable Energy sector and onshore wind project development, or similar requiring project management with communities
• German and English language skills are a must
