The WTG Category Manager will be responsible for the strategic direction of the WTG category, providing procurement recommendations to the business, and managing the overall supplier relationship.

This role will be based from either the HQ office in Bremen or Hamburg, flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive WTG Category Strategy based on market and supplier insights and outlook.
  • Create global frameworks and strategic partnership agreements with WTG Suppliers on the portfolio level.
  • Qualify and select suppliers and hold them accountable for relationship/performance management.
  • Engage the supply chain on ESG for sustainable outcomes.
  • Work in close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders, providing knowledge, lessons learned/best practices, guidance, instructions, and execution of negotiations TSA/SWA.
  • Function as the main point of escalation between internal stakeholders and our suppliers.
  • Support the pipeline of projects in commercial activities.
  • Own the overall supplier relationship.

Required Experience:

  • Degree in Business Management, Procurement & Supply Chain, MCIPS, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or relevant work experience.
  • Commercial, technical, analytical skills, and business acumen.
  • Wind industry and category management experience required.
  • Negotiating, strategy deployment, tendering skills, experience with large, complex high-value contracts.
