WTG Package Manager

Role

• Take joint responsibility for the wind turbine trade during design, manufacture, erection, and commissioning.
• Monitor project progress over its entire duration, using both package and project schedules and identifying technical optimisation options.
• Identify technical issues in contractor project designs and fabrication plans, performing risk assessments and developing custom solutions.
• Review contractor-prepared design and execution documentation, and draft internal decision templates for technical addendum agreements.
• Work closely with Design, Engineering, Installation and Commissioning teams, as well as Construction and Contract Management, reporting to both the Package Manager and Project Management depending on the situation.
• Be a reliable and approachable point of contact for the internal project team and contractors, providing technical support as required.

Requirements

• Hold a completed engineering degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience in negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA).
• Have experience in project management of challenging technical projects and technical interface management within the wind energy industry, with a specific focus on wind turbines - ideally in offshore wind.
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Enthusiastic and collaborative approach to working within an international team and display a willingness to travel and cultural awareness.
• Demonstrate a passion for renewable energy and maintain an organised and focused approach to work, even in a fast-paced environment.
