Well after a huge concerted effort.. WE DID IT! 🙌
We started our Global Challenge in Sep 2020 to run / walk / cycle (or any other form of exercise!) the distance between our international offices by 28 March 2021. Having successfully reached Taiwan via Spain, the US and Singapore…. we weren’t done there. We decided to do the return leg!
We did our stretches, rolled up our sleeves and pushed ourselves to clock those kms and get back to Glasgow!
Over the course of 162 days, we logged an amazing 6,182 activities on Strava, smashing our 53,000km target – 5 days early! 💪
We are super proud of this achievement which was made possible by an admirable team spirit and some serious motivation tactics on Whats’app!
We’d do it all again tomorrow if it helped raise more awareness and crucial funding for our life-changing mental health charities the Samaritans and the IASP.
The last few years have been especially difficult for everyone’s mental health as we’ve attempted to get to grips with the challenges thrown up by the global pandemic. This challenge has benefited the entire team as it pushed us to get out, be active and improve our own health and wellbeing.
