Assistant Account Payable Manager

My Client represents one of the largest Offshore Wind farm in Asia and currently looking for an Assistant Account Payable Manager.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Assistant Account Payable Manager will be part of the CFO (Chief Finance Office) department and be responsible for executing the account payable, value added tax (VAT) related processes (filling and refund) and implement improvement in the ERP System. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Account Payable Manager includes the following:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review all invoices/supporting documents for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

2. Supervise the key in all the invoices into the ERP System.

3. Post all the invoices that have been key in by Account Payable Specialist/Interns or someone from the Accounting team.

4. Maintain vendor master data.

5. Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.

6. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

7. Handle employee reimbursement and travel expense claim.

8. Collect all necessary information for VAT fillings and for requesting the VAT refund applications.

9. Work to drive process improvements in other Accounting operation functions as assigned.

10. Proceed with monthly closing, liaising with Account Payable Manager and Accounting & Tax Manager.

11. Train and coordinate the VIC (Vendor Invoice Claim) process in the ERP system.

12. Provide all necessary information during Audits or ICFR process.

13. Other project support assigned by Account Payable Manager and other members in CFO department.

In the role of Assistant of Account Payable Manager, will report to the Account Payable Manager or to the Senior Director of Accounting and Tax.

2. QUALIFICATIONS & KEY SKILLS

1. Business University Degree (Economics, Commerce, or Finance) or related field. 5-year of relevant working experience in similar function or Big 4 experience is desirable.

2. Detail-oriented and team-oriented

3. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, accounting and tax principles.

4. Good communication skills and can work under pressure. Self-motivated with an innately curious personality and a desire to learn.

5. Ability to work collaboratively and prioritise effectively.

6. Language: 1). Mandarin: native; 2). English: effective communication

7. Good computer literacy. (MS Office and/or MS Dynamics 365)
