An exciting opportunity to join a global top 1 solar and BESS manufacturer, as a BESS Bid/Tender Manager.

Location: Italy/Greece.

The Role:

As a Bid/Tender Manager your primary responsibility will be to lead the preparation and submission of bids/tenders for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects throughout the EU region. You will organize the work with the team to meet bid/tender deadlines and ensure all requirements are met. This role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, developing bid/tender strategies, and monitoring the progress of bids/tenders. Understanding of BESS, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously are key to this role. Prior experience in bid/tender management, project management, and the energy sector would be beneficial.

  • Lead the preparation and submission of bids/tenders for BESS projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet all requirements.
  • Act as a project manager, organizing the work with the team to meet bid/tender deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for the bid/tender.
  • Develop and implement bid/tender strategies to increase the chances of winning the project.
  • Monitor the progress of bids/tenders, identify issues and risks, and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to BESS.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BESS technology.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in bid/tender management and project management.
  • Understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and their applications.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Prior experience in the energy sector is preferable.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites or industry events.
