BESS Jr Project Manager

An exciting oppotunity to join a global top 1 solar and BESS manufacturer, as a Junior BESS Project Manager.

Location: Greece/Italy

The role:

As a Junior Project Manager in the BESS field, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of BESS projects throughout the EU region. This includes understanding project requirements, coordinating with team members and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for preparing project documentation and monitoring project progress. Understanding of BESS and its applications, along with problem-solving and communication skills, are key to this role. Prior experience in the energy sector and knowledge of project management tools and methodologies would be beneficial.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of BESS projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with the Sr. project manager and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project progression.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues and risks, and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to BESS.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BESS technology.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and their applications.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy sources and grid connection.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or in the energy sector is preferable.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites or industry events.
