Taylor Hopkinson is searching for an experienced Offshore Technician for a global energy leader, the leading wind power producer and one of the largest electricity companies in the world.
The job location is Sassnitz, Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of all offshore structures in line with safety standards.
- Performing mandatory safety equipment checks.
- Handling crane and electrical component repairs.
- Troubleshooting at on- and offshore structures.
- Supervising subcontractors and conducting quality audits.
- Assisting in risk assessments, method statements, and warehouse management.
- Maintaining tools and spare parts.
- Participating in fire drills (qualified as HLO/ HAD).
- Providing daily work reports.
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training, ideally in fields like electrician, industrial mechatronics, or any discipline related to mechanics or hydraulics.
- At least 2 years of experience in the aforementioned areas, with a preference for offshore experience.
- Proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written.
- Physically fit and open to working offshore.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally.
- Proficient in using standard MS Office software.
- Authorization to switch 33/66 kV.
- Experience in crane operations.
- GWO modules for offshore tasks.
