Cable Specialist required for a major offshore wind developer based in Denmark
Responsibilities
- Identifying and reviewing specific contracts needed (vessels, spare parts, manpower etc.)
- Any extraordinary permits needed
- Asset/site specific documents review (what do we have, is it sufficient?)
- Spareparts overview, repair strategies in different scenarios /Array/export/summer/winter/offshore, nearshore).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience working with cables in the energy industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of cable installation techniques
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed
