Taylor Hopkinson are delighted to be recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer for their leading renewables client based in Warsaw.
The role:
- Setting up financial systems and reporting procedures as required by local law and shareholders
- Ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of all financial statements
- Preparation of annual accounts in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP, and preparing bank reports
- Setting up and maintaining the financial model
- Maintaining relationships with banks and other financial institutions
- Leading and developing a team of people in the finance/project department
- Executing financial strategies that maximise project viability and profitability
- Leading the budgeting process and providing accurate forecasts and insights
- Implementing accounting software – experience with Workday desirable
Key skills/Experience:
- MBA/Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CFO, FD or senior financial leadership role
- Experience of working within a large organisation, preferably in large projects
- Strong background within project financing and reporting requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with international shareholders
- Native/fluency in Polish and fluent in English
