Taylor Hopkinson are proud to be leading the search for a Field Application Engineer, focused on ESS to assist the Product Management and Development teams.
We are currently recruiting for a position within the Netherlands.
Responsibility
- Provide up to date technical support to sales and product marketing
- Supporting the proposal preparation process
- Advising on solutions
- Manage technical customer queries and requirements in collaboration with the product management teams from specification to acceptance
- Assist in identifying new market opportunities.
- Maintaining an up to knowledge of changes to local legislation and standards
- Occasional on-site technical support at the customer site for complex technical challenges
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our company’s product lines
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Years of experience with Energy Storage Systems or Power Conditioning Systems
- Fluent English (spoken and written is essential) and Chinese skills would be an advantage
- Excellent technical knowledge related to integration of different systems (interfaces & control) and understanding of Energy Storage Systems
- Installation experience / certificate to work in LV grid
- Excellent problem solving abilities, including critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to translate and specify customer-requirements to the product management & development department
- Capable to self-manage with the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team
- Customer focus, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Holds a valid driving license
