Our client is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Modeller to join their finance team. This presents an outstanding opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial Modelling or a related role to gain practical experience in a dynamic and environmentally conscious organisation.
As a Financial Modeller, you will collaborate closely with their CFO, Development Directors, and other finance professionals to assist in various investment and valuation tasks related to renewable energy projects. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate internally within multi-functional teams to evaluate project economics, investment opportunities, conduct market entry research, and perform other ad hoc analyses.
- Develop and maintain intricate financial models for renewable energy projects, supporting Project Finance, M&A activities, and ongoing economic analysis during project development.
- Track asset performance throughout their lifecycle, from conceptualisation to development and operational phases.
- Coordinate inputs from diverse internal and external sources to ensure accurate financial performance representation for each project.
- Engage in Project Finance related activities by managing and assessing finance offers as projects progress.
- Ensure the structural integrity and functionality of financial models.
- Validate and take ownership of input sources, integrity, and functionality of all financial models.
- Contribute to the Business Plan for the group.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial modelling.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, investment principles, and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
