Our client is a prominent provider of comprehensive solutions for Green Hydrogen production, offering expertise in consulting, engineering, plant construction, EPC services, and life cycle support, complemented by cutting-edge digital solutions.
The role:
- Development of conceptual designs for power distribution and rectifier systems at the plant level.
- Evaluating and researching potential partners and suppliers.
- Defining and generating electrical studies including short circuit, harmonic, arc flash protection, and coordination, as well as grounding.
- Establishment and management of electrical design standards.
- Provision of electrical system cost and design advice within sales and execution projects.
- Preparation of electrical design documents.
- Creation and assessment of inquiries for the procurement process.
The requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in designing and implementing industrial medium and low voltage power systems.
- Demonstrated experience with industrial rectifier systems and/or high voltage (HV) systems is advantageous.
- Ability to engage in consultative and negotiation processes with customers and suppliers to develop robust specifications, articulate proposals effectively, and present results in clear and factual engineering reports.
- Experience conducting acceptance tests and overseeing installation and commissioning during startup.
- Familiarity with European electrical standards; knowledge of North American standards is beneficial.
- Experience in preparing and evaluating short-circuit and harmonic studies is advantageous.
- Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction, coupled with proactive decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel for a minimum of 5 days per month.
