Interface Manager

We are working with a global leader in renewable energy who are currently recruiting for a Interface Manager to provide support for their Korean offshore wind and renewable energy projects.

About You:

As the Project Interface Manager, you will be involved in managing & highlighting interfaces between packages throughout the development and execution of the wind farm, to ensure that cross package engineering is compatible, free issue items are identified and included appropriately in design and construction plans, and potential issues are identified & mitigated in a timely manner.

Role and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Draft the Scope Management Plan and the Interface Management Plan.
  • Facilitate Package Team workshops to collect requirements, define scope and create the WBS.
  • Prepare and maintain the Scope Statement and WBS (Scope Baseline).
  • Prepare and maintain the Interface Documentation and the Interface Traceability Matrix.
  • Facilitate Package Team workshops to collect requirements and define interfaces.
  • In cooperation with the other project participants, ensure that all requirements and interfaces are agreed and documented in the interface documentation and reflected across all Contract Agreements.
  • In cooperation with the other project participants, ensure that the interface documentation and interface traceability matrix are updated according to the latest progress reported in the Project Schedule.
  • Verify with relevant Stakeholders that scope and interface actions and deliverables have met requirements.
  • Ensure that risk register entries /change requests are made when corrective action is necessary to bring scope and interface actions and deliverables in line with requirements.
  • Provide input to the EPC Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc, MSc, or other relevant degree. Competence equivalent to PMI-PMP.
  • Recommended five years of relevant work experience within Offshore Wind and/or Construction Engineering.
  • Recommended five years of experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage at all levels. Korean (desired but not essential – written and spoken.
  • Understanding of, and experience implementing, Health Safety and Environment (HSE). standards to industry best practices.
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skill.
