This is a full-time, permanent staff position based in Boston (hybrid).

Role

The Planning Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, ensuring consistency and realism while aligning with assessed risk parameters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering and maintaining consistent and realistic plans and control structures for the
  • project.
  • Support the development of activities, logic, resources, and progress for project workstreams.
  • Assist in implementing and complying with planning and progress monitoring procedures.
  • Contribute to monthly progress updates, forecasts, and trend analyses for assigned elements.
  • Aid in assessing and incorporating the impact of approved changes and deviations from project targets.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads to understand key schedule sensitivities and drivers.
  • Support the development of contract key dates, milestones, and project schedule alignment.
  • Contribute to the translation of the project’s risk profile into probabilistic risk models.
  • Assist in assessing project targets through internal and external benchmarking.
  • Apply fit-for-purpose tools and procedures for offshore wind projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a Planning Engineer is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of industry experience in planning positions.
  • Familiarity with Planning principles and techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 is advantageous.
  • Exposure to offshore projects is desirable.
  • Effective communication and engagement skills.
