Responsibilities:
- Discover potential projects with appropriate solar resources, access to electric transmission, and suitable site features.
- Formulate and oversee project development budgets and estimates.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulators, utilities, and elected officials.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with developers.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Engineering, Project Finance, and EPC.
- Secure land surface rights for the design, permitting, construction, operation, and maintenance of solar power projects.
- Oversee the permitting of solar facilities at the state, federal, and regional levels.
- Engage in negotiations for interconnection agreements.
- Supervise environmental studies.
- Direct the preparation of proposals submitted to utilities.
- Assist in the financial analysis and modelling of the project.
- Deliver regular and frequent updates on pipeline, project status, and other reports to management.
- Continually research the energy market and competition.
- Maintain effective and continuous communication with the cross-functional team.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Solid experience in project development within the green energy industry.
- Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
- Must be proactive, hands-on, and motivated.
- Prior experience in a multicultural environment is preferred.
- Must be proficient in both English and Polish.
- Must be willing and able to travel.
