Project Engineer Civils required for a major Transmission System Operator based in Belgium
Responsibilities
- The development of technical solutions during the design phase.
- Drawing up budgets.
- Provide input in drawing up the planning and the scenario of the works of the project + of all the projects themselves.
- Coordinating and following up the architectural plans in the context of the permit applications.
- Managing, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation studies, i.e. the stability studies of the structural structures and the drawing up of the plans.
- Directing and supervising external study partners.
- Drawing up the special technical specifications and price list for the contracting of the contractors.
- Provide technical support to the project manager and site supervisor Civil Engineering during the execution phase.
- Responsible for the quality of the architectural studies.
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and French
- Preferably has an Engineering degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Attaches great importance to quality.
- Well organised, flexible, and willing to work in a team.
- A strong affinity for structural techniques, soil mechanics and notions of stability calculations.
- Able to work on several projects at the same time.
