Project Engineer – Transmission & OHL

Project Engineer – Transmission & OHL required for Onshore Infrastructure based in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Working in close cooperation with the Project Leader and with fellow Project Engineers. The Project Engineer has a technical focus, the Project Leader an organisational focus.
• Key figure between the design team, the technical experts and the project.
• Involvement in the project from definition to completion: participation in the definition, study and design of the projects. During the implementation phase, assist the Project Leader with technical support.
• Carrying out preparatory technical studies and supervising the design team and responsible for the qualitative execution of the studies.
• Communication and reporting on the progress of the project.
• Substation with a focus on HV components within the substation.
• SecSys with a focus on protection and automation systems and Telecom.
• Lines with a focus on power lines and pylons for the connections between substations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or electromechanics or equivalent through experience and strong interest in technology.
• Technical experience within the high-voltage domain is a MUST.
• Perfect knowledge of Dutch or French.
• Knowledge of the other national language is an important asset.
• Strong sense of responsibility, strong organizational talent.
• Communication skills with a smooth assertiveness and who are customer-oriented.
• Good teamwork with a good dose of ingenuity.
