Project Leader (Asset Condition & Control) required for a major Transmission System Operator based in Belgium
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the definition, study, design of the projects and support the implementation until commissioning and administrative closure.
- Translating the needs initiated from the project into concrete implementation needs.
- In close consultation with the various teams (Maintenance, Asset Management, IT, Datacom) determining the correct solution.
- Assisting the design team during their detailed study (preparation of the various plans necessary for construction and management of the plant).
- Assist a local project manager during the site phase if applicable.
- Reporting budget, scope, and ambition tracking.
- You work in a multidisciplinary team (no hierarchical line, only functional) and consider the required and available resources.
- You will report to the Program Manager of the program.
- Participate in defining the new concepts and determining the framework agreements related to the equipment, in collaboration with the relevant expertise department.
- Participate in or lead the pilot projects (PoC) that allow to validate the new concepts as well as the OT/IoT devices and tools before they will be used on the Belgian network.
Requirements
- Civil or industrial engineer in electronics-ICT, electro mechanics or energy.
- Strong sense of responsibility, pronounced organizational skills.
- You are good at keeping an overview of several projects running simultaneously.
- Fluent assertive communicator, who is customer-oriented, values team spirit and is resourceful.
- Tech savvy mindset is a must.
- Experience with OT/IoT projects is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.
- Ability to speak French/Dutch is a plus.
