Taylor Hopkinson is exclusively tasked with finding an experienced leader to lead the approval processes for an offshore grid connection project in northern Germany.
In this role, you are the “foreign minister” of the offshore grid connection project and together with your team, you will be responsible for obtaining all relevant approvals
This is a full time, staff role based in Germany.
Role:
- Responsibility for the management of internal and external service providers as well as the interface management of the internal specialist disciplines during the approval phase through to construction.
- Co-ordination of discussions with the approval and specialist authorities as well as citizens and other stakeholders including landowners are also part of your area of responsibility.
- Coordination of approval documents and responsibility for quality assurance.
- Act as the central contact for the general contractors regarding approval matters.
- Responsible for the preparation, support and control of the required public law approval and approval procedures (plan approval procedures, BImSchG) for organising and obtaining permits, intersections and path usage contracts.
Requirements:
- Degree or relevant qualification in the field of natural sciences, engineering or similar subject.
- Existing experience in the energy sector and in the planning of infrastructure projects is desirable.
- Experience dealing with authorities and other public stakeholder
- Good knowledge of project management.
- Willingness to make decisions on your own responsibility.
- Ability to work in a very structured manner as a team player
- Fluent in German and English.
