| Description
The Senior Authorised Person (SAP) is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical operations at our offshore wind farm facilities in Taiwan. The SAP plays a pivotal role in the management and execution of high-voltage (HV) operations, including switching, isolations, and testing, in compliance with both local regulations and international best practices. The individual will lead by example, promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence within the team. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and execute HV switching, isolation, grounding, and safety documentation as per operational requirements and safety standards. * Act as the primary point of contact for all HV operational activities on site, ensuring compliance with Taiwanese regulations and international electrical standards. * Develop, review, and approve Safe Systems of Work, including risk assessments and method statements forelectrical operations. * Provide technical expertise and support for the maintenance and troubleshooting of HV equipment, ensuringminimal downtime and optimal performance. * Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental(HSE) policies and procedures. * Train and mentor junior other colleagues in the electrical organisation, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency,and continuous improvement. * Collaborate with the operations management and other stakeholders to ensure the alignment of operationalactivities with the overall site operational plan. * Liaise with external contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of HV operations and compliance with local and international regulations. * Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and regulatory changes affecting HV operations in the offshorewind sector. |
