Senior Business Developer – Japan

Our client is a rapidly expanding developer of solar farms for Green Hydrogen and Ammonia production. They are looking for Senior Business Developers to represent them in key regions for them as they scale up production capabilites. Identify and/or create investment opportunities, generate deals and manage business relationships with partners and stakeholders in line with the the organisations green hydrogen strategy and ICSP.

The role:

  • Sales and negotiation
  • Strategically develop and implement long-term strategic plans to drive growth
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer data to identify opportunities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects with various deadlines, they prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Develop and manage budgets and understand financial statements and metrics.
  • Adaptable and resilient in the face of challenges and changes in the environment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience of developing Green Hydrogen/ Ammonia business OR Renewables
  • MBA or relevant Master’s degree from a top-tier internationally recognized higher education institution, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical/Process), Science, Economics or any other related field
  • Proven experience negotiating high-level agreements
  • Understanding of local regulations and governemental oversight to forsee opportunites
