Job Title: Senior Finance Controller

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior Finance Controller to join our team at a solar energy company that specialises in developing and constructing solar rooftop projects. As a Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for cleaning up internal processes and procedures, ensuring that they are efficient and effective. You will work closely with the management team to provide financial analysis and insights and to develop and implement strategies to improve the company’s financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline internal processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide financial analysis and insights to the management team
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the company’s financial performance
• Prepare and present financial reports to the management team
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
• Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration

Requirements:

• Fully proficient and fluent in German and English
• GAAP and IFRS knowledge
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (can be from a different industry)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
